Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth Liberator Serum
This is a serum I tried out over the last month, having been sent a trial size in the Harrods Glossybox in April. This (ridiculously expensive) serum targets a very different aspect of skin care I normally go for, ageing. I'm not sure it is specifically aimed at my age group but felt nice on my skin regardless. You can literally feel your skin tightening as you apply it. I could not notice a difference in my skin's appearance over the couple of weeks I tried it, but the serum definitely made my skin feel softer.

I Love Mango & Papaya Shower Smoothie
This shower brand really is great! The value for money convinced me and their varieties are too delicious.
Available at Superdrug, £2.05

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution
This toner has been raved about for a while now so I decided to brave the overall high cost and give it a go. I was happy with what it did, being a gentle make-up remover. It made my skin feel refreshed and clean, which was rather nice. However I can't seem to find anything different from a reasonably priced toner. It does the job.
Available on ebay, around £10

Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical
I seriously wouldn't survive a single day without dry shampoo. This stuff is a life saver and get's me through any bad/flat/greasy hair day. The Tropical scent is especially nice. I still want to give the XXL Volume version a try. Is it any good?
Available at Superdrug, £2.99

Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum
Now this stuff absolutely blew me away - a hydrating serum was exactly what I needed! Yet again it came as a trial size in the May Glossybox and has rescued my rather tight and tired looking skin throughout the month. It has quite a runny consistency and if you're not careful will use up a lot at once, my skin literally drank it up. I'm most definitely going to buy the full size.
Available at Feelunique, £26.10

Herbal Essences Uplifting Volume Shampoo
Another sure staple in my beauty routine. Herbal Essences does the most amazing scents and it does the trick. I wonder if somebody else does this but I normally combine the Volume version with the Beautiful Ends one!? The shampoo leaves my hair feeling light and clean as well as smelling delicious.
Available at Superdrug, £3.49

Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara
I go through quite a lot of mascaras over the months and this was another high street brand I tried. As I am normally looking for added length and loads of volume I tend to go for larger brushes. It still puzzles me what those smaller silicone brushes actually do? The Revlon mascara performs solidly however it did not add as much volume as I'd like. It is a little annoying having to add layer over layer to achieve the desired look.
Available at Superdrug, £9.99

Kérastase Nutritive Masquintense Fine
Now this is my absolute winner! The idea of using a conditioner or mask never really occurred to me as my hair is very fine. How wrong I was! This Kérastase product made my hair soft, more workable and more voluminous than before. It feels nourished and healthy, the days of frizzy ends are over! Even though the price tag is pretty steep (~£21) it was so worth it. I cannot recommend it enough so please give it a go if you haven't done so already!
Available at Lookfantastic, £21.15

  3. I love the XXL dry shampoo, it's amazaballs, though I use the Tropical one on a daily basis and the XXL for nights out or when my hair feels particularly flat

  4. I really want to try Caudalie products, I've heard lots of good things about them :) I like my Bioderma more for taking off makeup gently than toning, but I really wish it weren't so pricey and hard to get a hold of. Batiste is a great dry shampoo, it's definitely a lifesaver at times!
